Emerald Isle Club monthly's ceili is held at:
American Legion Post 183

Our
location is easy to find - only one traffic light off Beltway Exit 30 on Perring
Parkway. At the light, turn left onto Putty Hill Ave. and the hall is 0.3 miles
on the right.

Dinner Anyone?: For those who would like to do so, there are quite a few reasonably
priced restaurants and fast food stops at Exit 30 offering a wide choice of food.
Peter
Fitzgerald continues to present great music with the
J. Patrick's All Stars and Marilyn Moore continues to teach us how to
dance. There is a snack and dessert table so our members can share their favorites,
as well as th usual chips, pretzels and beverages. The
Club also offers options for amusing the children who attend. In addition to a
craft projects, there is a "lending library" of books, games, and puzzles that
families can take to their table and use during the evening. Some of the craft
projects are also designed to be taken to the table to be done with family members
during the evening or taken home to use later. It is especially important that
in the interest of safety, children be supervised at all times and not allowed
to wander by themselves. Our
ceilis are usually held the first Saturday of the month, October through May,
at 7:00pm. CEILI

Pre-Ceili Dance Workshop on January 2, 2009
Marilyn
Moore will be doing a special 2-hour dance lesson before the CeilĖ from 5 to 7pm.
She will be teaching the entire North Kerry Set from start to finish, and time
permitting we can do a review of some of the basic dancing steps. There is no
extra charge for the workshop. The lesson will be included with the regular Ceili
admission price. |
